Description
This collection began in 1974 and stored two subcollections of seed of corn: one of varieties with free pollinization and another of pure genetic lines.Overall information

1 - Preservation of autochthonous germ-plasm, 2 - Genetic study of the Spanish germ-plasm, 3 - Obtaining of new varieties adapted to humid areas, 4 - Development of resistant germ-plasm to stress. 5 - Development of varieties of corn for alimentary use.
