Description
The palaeontological collection is integrated by 2600 fossil specimens mainly collected in l'Alcoià outcrops and other palaeontological sites of nortern Alicante province. For this reason, this collection is representative of the fossil fauna of the mentioned geographical area. As the main palaeontological outcrops correspond to Mesozoic and Cenozoic times, the temporal interval represented by the fossil takes from 240 my to the Quaternary.Overall information
