This collection of alive plants was created in 1802. The deciduous trees, leafies and palmshave special relavance. The plants are ordered in 20 different subcollections: medicinal, carnivorous, Bromeliaceae, ferns, aquatic....Overall information
Strengths
1- Reproductive Biology, 2- Biology and Conservation of endangered flora.
Usage restrictions
The hothouses only open up from 11'00 to 14'00 h.; access limitations don't exist to the collections, only the necessary to guarantee their survival or to develop maintenance works.
Access restrictions
Free access. Open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday with changing visiting hours along the year from the 10'00 h. to the sunset.
