Description
Barakaldo Mycological Society is one of the more veteran societies in the Basque Country. Since its foundation in 1975, it has gathered varios people interested in fungi, and has promoted nature conservation and research The main goal of our institution is to create mycological knowledge and culture based on research and divulgation

Goals
To teach Nature Sciences, especially Mycology, to Fomentar las Ciencias Naturales, principalmente la Micología, to provide the society with knowledge. To promote the scientific study of mycology and other fields of Natural Sciences, with the goal of publishing specialized studies that contribute to a better knowledge of nature. To pursue, as far as possible, nature conservation, and to participate in activities towards it aside of political activities.
